Petition Regarding Music as a Protected Subject in Elementary Schools
MPP Steve Clark has formally launched a petition which calls on the Minister of Education to declare music in Ontario elementary schools a protected subject. This will ensure teachers delivering the program are familiar with the elements of music, can read and interpret music and are able to communicate in musical way. The Township of Front of Yonge Council supports this petition.
