The Front of Yonge Library

The Friends of the Library group was established in 2003 to carry out fund raising. They have provided us with vital tools such as a hand scanner for the automated circulation system. The Friends of the Library have also given invaluable support during special events. They very kindly (and extremely efficiently) coördinated special activities, and served refreshments for events taking place at the library.

The group has been organized by Elizabeth Stratton but she has moved to Bermuda for the next three years and the group is, at present, in abeyance. To restart "Friends" activities, we must reorganize. We are Recruiting.
