We offer our patrons a warm welcome and do all we can to ensure that their library visit is enjoyable and productive. We provide:
- WiFi at the Library. Community members may bring their laptops, register at the desk to get the password, then use our high-speed internet connection.
- High Speed Internet Access. Thanks to grants from Industry Canada, the FOY library is a CAPsite (Community Access Program) location. This service enables people in rural areas to have access to High Speed Internet. Internet usage assistance is offered for free to adults and children. Please call ahead to book a computer.
- Access to the library collection of more than 14,000 items: books, periodicals, audio and video tapes, books on CD-ROM.
- Interlibrary Loan services.
- Information and Reference service for all library clients (adults and children) on all topics including community information.
- Access, via this web site, to the NoveList Plus Data Bases.
- High-speed internet workstation.
- Visiting Library Service with home-delivery of library materials to shut-ins. See the Visiting Library Service page for details.
- Special Programmes for Children.
- School visits and liaison with Front of Yonge Elementary School.
- Local History Collection with materials from the township’s past. Please consult the librarians for access.
- Meeting Hall available for rent. Please call the Township Office at 923-2251 to book your event.
- Photocopies at $0.25 per page.
- Fax service. In this case a charge of $1.25 per transmission applies.
